Case Sealers – Machine Models

What sealing methods are used in Hamrick's case sealers (e.g., tape, glue)?

We manufacture tape case sealers, hot melt glue case sealers, and even a hybrid model machine that is capable of switching between tape and hot melt glue with the push of a button!

Are the sealers compatible with various box materials and sizes?

Yes, they can handle a range of case sizes. Most common construction is corrugated RSC or FOL style cases.

How reliable are the seals during transportation and storage?

We work with the customers to understand the needs of the project. When taping the cases, we normally utilize DEKKA brand tape heads which have a long history of reliability and consistency. When gluing the cases closed, we utilize either Nordson or Valco Melton brand melters. Both have a great reputation in the industry. Please keep in mind that the quality of tape and/or glue used will greatly impact the quality of the seal.

Can case sealers handle high-speed production environments?

Yes, our case sealers are capable of 50+ cases per minute on the high end.

What maintenance is required to keep case sealers running efficiently?

A routine preventative maintenance schedule that we provide keeps the machines running optimally.

Do you offer automatic or semi-automatic sealing options?

All our case sealers are designed to be fully automatic. Currently all our case sealers are top only sealers.
