Packaging Specialty Equipment
In addition to our standard machine offerings, Hamrick Packaging Systems has also developed a number of specialty equipment designs over the years. Thes models are either newer in design based on market need or have been updated from a previous design to meet current electrical and safety needs.
Our packaging specialty equipment machines below include but are not limited to:
Lane Dividers
Hamrick designs and manufactures lane dividers that can be either free-standing or included as part of a machine. Our dividers can distribute non-round products from single or double in-feed lanes to multiple discharge lanes. In certain applications, a vision system can be added to the lane divider to distribute products for variety packs.
Robotic Partition / Pad Inserter
Our inserters can place a Z or S style insert into a case/tray. We also make a pad inserter that can set the pad vertically into a case for load stability, or on the top of a packed case for additional shipping integrity.
Uncasers
Our uncaser options are great for industries that buy their containers in bulk reshipper cases. Hamrick offers several models of uncasers; VQC half-depth, VQC full-depth, pick & place and robotic uncasers. All models can run most round, and non-round, containers at speeds up to 35 cycles per minute.
Tab Lock Breakers
We manufacture a machine capable of breaking tab locks on cases without the use of a blade; a safe and effective method.
