Small Footprint Palletizer with Sheet Inserter

This robotic palletizing cell was designed to fit in a very small footprint, due to available floorspace. The uni-frame design of the Mod-Pal solution allowed us to house the robot and riser, vacuum blower, robot controller, and main control cabinet in one compact, welded, steel frame.

To achieve the speed of 25+ cases per minute, we utilized the Hamrick Case Row Former which creates pick patterns for 1 to 2 rows of products at a time. This palletizer also includes a rack for slip sheets. The robot can pick and place the slip sheets either on top of the empty pallet, or in between layers of less stable pallet patterns.

This is a brand-new packaging line for the customer who was manufacturing at much slower speeds in an older factory. They purchased this location to be able to more than double their production. Hamrick Packaging Systems also provided the high-speed drop packer for this packaging line.
